REAR WHEEL SPIN ISSUE | MLD CHANGE

Postby Bhushan27 » 03 Jul 2017, 19:37

1. Could anyone put some light on the new MLD that has been out for a while on a trail basis for solving the REAR WHEEL SPIN issue of the TUV?

2. Has anyone gone for the MLD change?

3. Are there any issues after going for the MLD change?

4. How is the performance after the MLD change?

I have attached few pictures of the MLD for reference.

Please share your experiences at the earliest.

Thanks

Mine is still to come but have heard of mixed response post MLD installation like loss of pickup, reduction in mileage, heaviness, non functional static bending head lamps etc.

But it does solve rear wheel spin issue.

Even i have heard of the same sharad. Not very sure though.

Mine is a January 2017 Manufactured model. I have hardly experienced the wheel spin issue, except for a few times minorly.

Could you please help me in deciding, whether to go for the upgrade or no ? My part is in order as of now.

Definitely go for it, issues highlighted are mostly due to not so good workmanship at service center, software upgrade and adaption issues etc....

Hi...MLD is Mechanical Differential Locking. After you fit this part in your Tank, you will be free from the REAR WHEEL SPIN issue, if there was any.

For more details on MLD : https://youtu.be/4U1SLSV9wNk

To get the MLD, simple drop an email to customercare@mahindra.com and request them to provide you with a MLD. You will get a call from them soon for enquiry, post which you may get your MLD in next 2-3 weeks for FREE. No charges at all by Mahindra. This is a great gift from Mahindra to us.

Thanks.

I have got the suspension setup replaced 4-5 months back, is it another update after the suspension change?
