I am planning to buy this TUV 300 AMT.

I have a couple of questions for the exisiting owners of this car.

1. Buying an AMT is a worthwhile option or not considering the price difference in manual and AMT.
Also please note that I am staying in metro city but my travel distance usually is not more than 30 kms a day.

2. Is the AC effective for the rear the back seats as you guys have experienced this summer already considering there are no vents at the back.

3. Milegae - What is the minimum mileage I cn expect from an AMT. I am assuming that the mileage will be lower in AMT as compared to the manual option.

Mileage minimum 9.8 or 10 in full AC, bumper to bumper traffic and 100% office commute in peak time.

AMT is worth if you find it inconvenient to operate clutch and frequent gear change during traffic while travelling to & fro office

AC is not much effective in peak summer for rear side facing seats but who sits in them all the time!!!

Sharad

Hi,

I have TUV300 T8 manual. The mileage in this vehicle is very less. I am getting around 9to10KM/L. Is there any way to increase this?

Thanks,
Vincent

On highway trips i manages to get 16-17 kmpl. ;)

Have got my second service done and i have bought "IFTEX System-D" from ROGER motors. I will update after my two tank fulls about improvement in mileage and performance. :)

BTW the 100 km method suggested by VP makes more sense to get a better estimate. ;)

I dont know what improved but as i said earlier, after second service i used "IFTEX System-D" from ROGER motors and mileage has increased from 12 to 14 kmpl in usual traffic conditions.

So i suggest everybody to use this product. :) might help with average issues and also prevent black smoke.

we should conclude after couple of tank fills. Have you also looked at ROGER ENGITECH? as per company website it reduces engine noise, increases mileage, pickup and engine life? works for 70k kms...

Hi,
I have done first service at Shri Durga Motors Delhi at 3200 km.My average is coming to 14.15 km/ltr and average running cost is rs.3.93/km.I have also taken extended warranty as owning Mahindra may be hit or miss.In all 3200+ km it behaved fantastically.Love to drive this brilliant vehicle.
