Hello All,

I drive for about 100 kms every day and my TUV gives me an average of 16-17 kmpl with ECO A/C on.

Please share your experiences.

The longer you drive the better the mileage you get. Diesel engines take 10-15 Kms just to reach optimal temperature and performance. If your daily one way drive is less than that you can't get above 11-12.

Filling 60 ltrs diesel in tank...

Postby pparab » 12 Jun 2017, 16:53

For filling 60 ltrs diesel in the tank I come across the idea of shaking vehicle side vise by grabbing roof rails. When body of TUV rolls, there is a provision of hole on left wall of tank inlet pipe, you can find entrapped air along with diesel come out from the pipe and making space for additional few litres of diesel to fit into tank ( as i am a newbie dont know whether it has got any disadvantages). I found it useful for the long drive... so far covered 2.5k and got around 16 km/ltr of average.. DTE sometime goes upto 1395 kms on full tank condition, provided, you drive on flat stretch, with 60 kmph in eco mode, eco a/c and overdrive gear with constant velocity, zero rate of change of velocity (or simply no acceleration)... Happy with the investment... only problem i faced that rear door don't open from inside... Gonna showing it to mahindra service centre during 1st service...
