Race Dynamics DieselTRONIC Performance Box for TUVs

Postby VPandey » 18 Aug 2016, 10:54

Last week I have tested Race Dynamics DieselTRONICS performance box with my mHAWK80 AMT.

installation was easy and quickly done by the representative of Delhi dealer. Just removed the engine cover and bypassed the stock box.

Tested box performance for about 20 kms and my findings are:

It has no effect in power band below 1500 RPM or till 2nd gear.

P1 mode has more smooth working than P2 mode and there is smooth sailing after 2000 RPM.

P2 mode provides noticeable increase in bhp but makes engine a bit coarse and vibrations felt on A pedal too.

Overall performance found to be just OK with no effect on the main pain area of sluggish start below 2K RPM and spending 20K was not at all justified.

This testing was done on 81 bhp AMT TUV and i would suggest MT owners and 100 bhp owners to test and post their experience too.

Will wait for any possible solution from Petes as well.

As per the latest update, there is a new map being worked by Race Dynamics for TUV300. In any case the existing map too works wonderful for MT owners. I request all AMT owners to enquire with the company for custom map for AMT.

Do we have a custom map for T8 AMT 100bhp version from dieseltronic? I feel some lack of power in auto mode. Can this be improved by fitting the tuning box?

Thank you. I happened to interact with a rep from ignite and he said there is one for amt version. He has offered me a trial run for 2 days with the chip on my tuv 300 amt 100bhp. I'll share my reviews soon.

Ignite? Never heard of them before. Will they override stock ECU or will give piggy back ECU like RD?

Do share your feedback post installation.
