Please suggest where to buy Bullbars and carrier for TUV

Postby Karanzone » 12 Aug 2016, 00:46

Please suggest where to buy Bullbars and carrier for TUV. I have been looking at local shops and they aren't very interesting. Mahindra ones are priced higher for what they are offering. Please suggest any online links or any place in Gurgaon.

Personally i will not suggest bull bars because they are not good for the vehicle. Not recommended for airbags equipped vehicles because sensors wont work at the time of collision/crash. They are drilled in the chassis of the vehicle , why to puncture the chassis big no no. Today's modern vehicles are designed in such a way that they can bear some collision and nothing major happens to the vehicle. Modern cars have crumple zones which come into play when collision occurs and it absorbs the impact and stops its effects to enter in cabin, if bull bar is there crumple zones will not come in to function and the crash impact force will be deliberately distributed in the chassis because they are connected there only which is not good from safety point of view.

Thanks Minku. As far as I know there are already holes drilled in every SUV chasis to support Bull Bars, its just that i feel the front of TUV is weak and cannot take the occasional traffic bumper collisions. What I'm looking for is a minimalistic bull bar that could provide some additional safety alongwith enhancing the overall presence of the vehicle.

Exactly,

The tank is not tough as it looks in the front... i had a small collision with a load auto and the left part of bumper ripped off very worse... it even damaged the fog lamps... so i suggest to go for a small grill up front...

Posted a pic of side view... will post front view soon...

How about bumper protector from the armour kit? It should be safe, not hamper sensor workings and look good too.
