10,000 KM done in TUV

Postby dieselburner » 17 May 2016, 10:12

Hi,

Got my 2nd free service done yesterday. odo stands at 10500 kms in 3 months.
Bill cost was 4337/- which includes all oils including engine oil, gear oil, differential oil, transmission oil change, oil filter change and some other minor expenses.
no major problems faced in vehicle till now(touch wood :) ), out of 10k kms, around 70% is highway driving & rest city driving.

Congratulations on miles munching that too without issues. How does the tank feels post 2nd service? NVH levels, Gear Shifts much better I hope? Did they perform suspension detorque on the tank?

Sharad

Its smooth, nothing noticeable difference also haven't driven much after the service.
Suspension detorque was not done. By the way what is this and how it helps?
Mine is a manual one, waht I have seen and heard is that AMT has issues.

To be frank, even I don't know what does it mean, heard this terminology each time I complained of suspension being soft or wobbly or making noise.

mine tuv too did 10000 km.. and working fine.the average i have taken from my tuv is 21..for best average u should shift the gear before 2000 rpm. i used to maintain speed around 50 when i have plenty of time.apart from it i have taken 12 kpl too at the speed of around 120..

21? Did you actually mention 21? Or is it typo? From 21 to 12 is huge difference...

I purchased my T8 MT in September 2015, now completed 10,000 km and second service. So far no problems. I am happy with my TUV. Exact mileage I have not checked, may be around 12 on average

Hi Guys,
I just got my TUV T8 second service done..costing aroung 6000 in Noida.
All the oil were changed. However, there are a few issues that I am facing:
1. The clutch has become Hard(not as smooth as it was earlier)
2. The average has dropped to 11KMPL.

I dont know how Mr. Dieselburner is able to extract 21KMPL. I would be happy with 15-16 also in Delhi Traffic conditions.

Also, please let me know if anyone else has faced these issues.
