My TUV 300 T8 manual is about 1.5 years old. I find a lot of wheel slip when surface is slightly uneven and tyre smells due to friction. The issue you have mentioned is normal. In case of hard brake abs system is releasing the brake pressure to ensure wheels don't lock hence the sound and push / tick.

Brake dust is normal and common to all Mahindra vehicles. For wheel spin get MLD installed. Go for manual if you have to go for a Mahindra, that too a TUV300. However if you like suspense, adventure and frequent interactions with service guys, plant engineers and customer service team go ahead and buy AMT. New ones also having issues randomly.

I am already in advance stage of taking legal action against Mahindra for these issues. I have had meeting with Mahindra western regional head who accepted the faults and shortcomings of this crappiest AMT, however refused to return full amount.
